Visitor to Quang Minh Temple’s Lunar New Year festivities left their wishes for the year ahead on roof tiles for a new Buddhist shrine.
Committee members have been raising funds for the under-construction community centre and shrine at the Braybrook temple, and donors have been pitching in to pay for roof tiles.
Thousands of Buddhists, Vietnamese Australians and others saw in the New Lunar Year at the temple on January 25 and 26.
Special New Year services are continuing at the temple every night until February 8.
